| Lac Courte Oreilles (pronounced Lake Couderay) represents the ideal vacation lake. The north end, where Pine Shores is located, is like a small lake, protected by scenic points from the winds off the larger portion of the lake. There is free access to its 5, 038 surface acres, 26 miles of beautiful shoreline, and its channels to other lakes for unusual boating trips. The lake is famous for its crystal clear sparkling water with a maximum depth of 90 feet. Excellent fishing, swimming (safe sand beach), abundant space for water skiing, sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving and outboard motor use. |
