  • Go Shopping!  The Hayward Lakes Area is known for their "distinctively...different" stores.  Many unique and fun shops!  Several Antique stores and thirft shops to pick from.
  • Go for a scenic drive...visit resorts or visit several historical markers
  • Namekagon-Courte Oreilles Portage (HWY 27 South 5.5 miles S of Hayward)
  • Early logging industry (HWY 27/70 near Couderay)
  • St Francis Solanus Indian Mission (Mission Road and County Road E, on the LCO reservation)
  • Upper Chippewa Valley's first sawmill (Couderay on HWY 27/70, near Eddy Creek)

  • The Chippewa Flowage (County Road CC, at the bridge over the flowage)
