Facebook and Instagram Rules and Disclaimers

You understand that you are providing your information to Hayward Lakes Visitors and Convention Bureau and its affiliates and not to Facebook. To enter the contest, you need to post an eligible photo with #HaywardLakeDay to Facebook or Instagram during the Submission Period listed on the original post.
Number of Entries
An individual may submit multiple photos for the contest period, but they must be individual posts, and all posts must include #HaywardLakeDay.
Photo/Comment Subject Restrictions
Photos and comments must be appropriate for posting on a public website. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. The Contest administrator retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
All photos need to be follow Facebook’s Community Standards.
Each entrant in the Contest is responsible for ensuring that he or she has the right to submit the photos that he or she submits to the Contest per these rules. If you choose to include people in your submission, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary releases from the individuals depicted, and must be able to provide copies of those releases to the Contest administrator upon request.
Photographers retain the copyright to their photographs. By entering the contest, photographers agree to have their submitted photograph displayed on the Contest administrators Facebook or Instagram pages and website without any fee or other form of compensation. Entries (including non-winning entries) may be selected by the Contest administrator for display or use in other web pages and promotional materials. Entries will never be used by the Contest administrator in any manner for sale. In the event that ownership of any photograph submitted is contested in any manner, the Contest administrator retains the discretion to disqualify that photograph and discontinue use of the photograph.
All entries (submissions) must be received on or before the time stated during that submission period. Sponsor reserves the right to extend, shorten, or cease the contest at their sole discretion. All eligible entries received during the Submission Period will be gathered into a database at the end of the Submission Period.
Winners will be notified via Facebook private message or Instagram direct message by the Contest administrator.
Employees of the Contest administrator and Signalfire, LLC are prohibited from participating in the contest.
