Swimming

The Hayward Lakes Area is home to many crystal clear and blue waters. With lakes too numerous to count including the 17,000-acre Chippewa Flowage and its 200 miles of undeveloped shoreline, you’ll find it hard to decide where to take a swim. The following are a list of public beaches open to everyone. If you would rather swim inside, the area also offers motels that offer swimming for a fee.

Have fun in the water!
