Tennis in the Hayward Lakes Area
The Hayward High School tennis courts are located at 10408 Greenwood Lane, Hayward, WI 54843.
Maintained by the Northwoods Tennis Club, guests are welcome to join scheduled matches that run Monday through Friday from 9am to 11am. Drop in fee is $10. There are also adult and youth leagues and summer clinics for a nominal fee. For more information, visit: Northwoods Tennis Club on Facebook.
Outside of club activities, the courts are generally open to the public after 11:00 AM daily. Please use the entrance nearest to Greenwood Lane.
Pickleball in the Hayward Lakes Area
Silverthorn Lake Park

Open play is scheduled regularly at Silverthorn Park. More information and scheduling options are available at Silverthorn sign-up on Play Time Scheduler; choose Hayward, the blue circle represents Silverthorn. There are pit toilets at the park, plus a playground, basketball court, pavilion, baseball field, and a swimming lake with a sandy beach.

Fiddler’s Creek Golf Driving Range / Disc Golf / Pickleball

Fiddler’s Creek has two pickleball courts. Their phone number is 715-634-4108; please call to make a reservation. There is a fee to play there: $10 per court per hour. Paddles and balls are available for a small rental fee if you don’t have them.

Cable Recreation Park

The Cable Town Park has two tennis/pickleball courts. You can use the courts anytime you wish. A local group meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:30 AM, and welcomes anyone who wants to play. Another group meets Mondays at 5:30 PM. Anyone is welcome to join in, and free loaner equipment is available. In addition to the courts, the park features a playground, tent campground, pavilion, ball field, skate park, and bathrooms.

There is one lined, fenced pickleball court. The second court is tennis only. There is no charge to use the court, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no bathrooms.

There are 6 indoor courts, typically 3 courts are available for play. They offer a $5 day pass for residents and non-residents.
