Outdoor Report

The Hayward area enjoyed beautiful weather recently, but the forecast for this week shows highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s, and a few chances for rain. Cooler temperatures are still comfortable, so use them while they are available!

The forecast shows a beautiful October fall week ahead, with mostly sunshine, highs in the low 60s to mid-70s, and lows in the upper 30s to low 40s… and a only couple chances for rain. The supply of such days is dwindling quickly, so make use of them NOW!

According to this week’s forecast, expect chances of rain and thunderstorms thru Wednesday and then again Saturday. Highs should range from the 60s to low 70s, and lows from 33-56 degrees, with cooler temperatures and chances of frost the latter part of the week. On the up side, we should see some sunshine Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday. During fall in the North Woods, we just have to go with the flow, be it good or not so good!

The forecast predicts a moderate and stable week with a mix of sunshine and highs in the mid-60s and most lows in the 40s. The only rain chances are Saturday/Saturday night and then again Monday. If the forecast holds, it looks like a very nice week of fall weather. Take advantage and enjoy it while you can!

Following a Sunday night low of 34 degrees and a Monday high of 60, temperatures return to upper 60s/low 70s this week, with frequent chances for rain. Fall officially arrives Tuesday, September 22, and there are numerous outdoor activities available ‑ take advantage of the season that is always too short!

The forecast shows a relatively nice week ahead, with highs in the mid-70s, though with rain from Monday night thru Tuesday night. Rain chances reappear Friday night and thru the weekend. Enjoy a great week!

September starts out sunny and warm, with temperatures in the 80s continuing through the week. From Tuesday night through the weekend, Saturday the exception, every day shows “chances” for rain. Time will tell…

There are slight chances of rain and thunderstorms early in the week, then sunshine leading into the weekend, with more chances for rain. Look for high 70s to low 80s daytime temperatures and mostly mid-50s for nighttime lows. In a week, we will welcome the first days of September, so get to those summer activities while they are available!

The “Dog Days of Summer” are (technically) history and there are changes in the air. It looks a bit like fall, though that might be due to the dryness. Still, you have time to continue enjoying summer activities, so have at it!
