The second day of winter forecast calls for a relatively mild week ahead, but the prognosticators continue to waver on the high for Christmas day. What was once 40 degrees is now 33 degrees, and of course subject to change at any time! Weather conditions are good through Christmas day Thursday, but with mixed precipitation that night into Friday, and through the weekend.

Take advantage of a very short warm-up Tuesday thru Thursday this week when daytime highs hit the mid- to upper-30s. It is a brief window of opportunity, so be sure to enjoy it!

The forecast predicts a week of snow and cold, no other way to say it ‑ and “official” winter is still two weeks distant! Look for highs from 2-29 degrees, lows from -14 to 16 degrees, and snow accumulation for the week around one foot.

We start December with cold weather that turns colder through the week, with lows ranging from 11 to -14 degrees, and highs from 12 to 24 degrees.
